Our Story
That’s us! The founders of Ghana Social Fund, Bram van den Einden (left) and Roy Asiedu (right). We are two friends from the Netherlands who finished their studies at the University of Tilburg and University of Amsterdam. Since we both started working, we felt that we wanted to do something for those who are less fortunate than us. Together we decided to start a small non-profit fundraising organisation focusing on social and educational development in Ghana. Our fund is an organisation that functions with an optimistic spirit and is focused on making real impact on a personal level: small for us but large for them! Roy is half Dutch/Ghanian, allowing us to work closely with known local schools and non-profit organisations in Ghana. We are proud to say that all related foundation costs (establishment, website etc.) are covered by us, ensuring 100% of your funds are directly used for our projects. Feel free to get in touch in case you have any questions. Thanks for your contribution!

Social
Our organisation focuses mainly on human social life. The projects we contribute to are aimed on education, social empowerment, welfare, healthcare and the well-being of the Ghanaian people. Our goal is clear: human development, especially on the individual level, is always worth fighting for.

Transparant

All financial details of the projects are published online, next to our yearly budget report. We are proud to say that all organisation costs are paid by the founders of the foundation. Therefore, you can be assured that 100% of the funds that we receive are used for the people and projects in Ghana. Want to know more? Click here

Personal
We are a small fund with the goal to make real impact. The smaller we are, the more personal we can be. Each project may seem like a small step, but the impact can be enormous on an individual life. This personal bond makes it fun to contribute to our projects, because even the smallest gesture can greatly contribute.
